OFFICIATING AND JUDGES

As in all athletic competitions, the integrity of the judges and criteria is paramount. Therefore, at all Fitness Universe Tour competitions, the preceding reputation of each show regardless of the promoter must be implacable. As well, each and every judge must be a professional and without doubt among the competitors. They must be experienced and respected in their discipline of professional and treat their judging responsibilities in a serious manner. Additionally, judges cannot be personally familiar or in anyway associated with any of the competitors either by family relations or as a coach, trainer, nutritionist, stylist, choreographer and/or training facility management. Their presence on a judging panel should not cause a sense of impropriety and/or contrued as a potential interference in being an objective, fair and impartial judge. At Beginner and Regional shows, one panel of judges may officiate the Fitness, Ms. Bikini and Model events. Another set of judges may officiate the Figure and Musclemania events. Fitness, Ms. Bikini and Model competitions are not bodybuilding events and, therefore, no bodybuilders, trainers or other muscle coaches should be empaneled as judges.

• Fitness - Noted aerobic instructors and certified personal trainers
• Dance - Choreographers, Broadway style dancers and instructors
• Gymnastics - Current or former world class level athletes and coaches
• Television - Producer, director and production talent
• Media - Competitive or participant sports journalist and photographer

MODEL JUDGES
7 Judges Minimum
1 Head Judges
1 Tabulator

• Agents - Commercial, theatrical, print and television
• Casting and Talent Scouts
• Television - Producers and directors
• Media - Consumer and sports magazine editors, writers and photographers

MUSCLEMANIA, PHYSIQUE & FIGURE JUDGES
7 Judges Minimum
1 Head Judge
1 Tabulator

• Weight trainers or coaches
• Sports nutritionists
• Current or former bodybuilding champions
• Fitness or bodybuilding magazine photographers and writers

Fitness, Ms. Bikini and Model competitions are not bodybuilding events and, therefore, should not empanel any bodybuilders, trainers or other muscle coaches as judges.
